To make a homemade deodorant with Shea butter you will need:
-3 T baking soda
-3 T Coconut oil
-2 T Arrowroot
-2 T Arrowroot
1-Melt coconut oil and Shea butter in a double boiler over medium heat until barely melted.
Combine in a glass mason jar which is quart size, with a lid instead. After that place this in a small saucepan of water until melted. You can also do this in a microwave if you have one.
2-Remove from heat then add arrowroot and baking soda. You can use more baking soda if you don’t have arrowroot.
4-Add essential oils and then pour it into a glass container to store it. It doesn’t need to store it in the fridge.
To Make a Homemade Natural Deodorant with Coconut Oil
It might take several hours to completely harden and this process can be sped up by putting in the fridge for a couple of minutes.
The coconut oil homemade deodorant is also a good smell killer. Its fragrance is very soothing and it can be made easily at your home. All you need is:
-6 T Coconut oil
-1/4 cup (4 T) arrowroot. You can also use organic cornstarch instead of arrowroot.
-You can use essential oils but their addition is optional.
1-Start by mixing the baking soda and arrowroot together in a medium sized bowl.
2-Use a fork to mash in coconut oil until it is well mixed.
3-Add essential oils if you want to.
4-Store it in a small glass jar or your old deodorant container for convenient use.
